Strong businesses and assets will “bend” when economic times are tough, but they will not break, an important consideration when investing for the long haul. In addition the “weight” assigned to each security in a portfolio and the correlations of different sectors and individual securities play a critical role in properly diversifying our portfolios in order to further reduce risks.
